Wer Orts- und Einheimischen-Nähe einer Ferienhausanlage mit Touristen vorzieht, ist in Mario`s House bestens aufgehoben. Geschäfte, Bars, Pizzerien, Restaurants, Eisdielen u.a. sind fußläufig erreichbar.Wir wurden von Carolina sehr herzlich empfangen: mit duftendem, selbst gebackenem Kuchen, Wein, Gebäck, … meist in Bioqualität vom Feinsten und von ihr mit Tipps für Unternehmungen bestens ausgerüstet.Die Appartements sind wie möblierte Wohnungen bestens ausgestattet und eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause.Im Geschäft von Carolinas Eltern im Erdgeschoß gibt es alles, was man brauchen könnte und wir wurden dort sehr nett bedient.Carolina bot uns sehr freundlich jederzeit ihre Unterstützung an. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Coming to Mario’s House is always a bit like coming home. We spent eight holidays here so far, and there are surely more to come. The appartments are spacious and have everything to feel at home, started from comfortable bedding to a nicely equipped kitchen with fridge, stove (some with oven), microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine and a good collection of differently sized pots and pans as well as nice crockery, and a comfortable bathroom with shower/tub, bidet and a washing machine. The balcony offers a wonderful view down the lake towards the south, some days you can see as far as the Appenines, and this is the perfect spot for a nice breakfast as well as a glass of wine late in the evening when you can enjoy the lights along the lake shore.The house is situated right in the centre of Gardola, with the church next door and a number of restaurants and shops just around the corner, here especially to mention Il Forno, a wonderful bakery we used to visit every morning. Even Germans get happy here 😉Carolina manages the appartments and welcomes her guests in a wonderful way with little surprises, and I advice you to use her linen service, it’s truly enjoyable. Paolo can give you helpful advice if you enjoy trekking in the mountains, he will tell you all the spots worth seeing. Carolinas parents run the shop downstairs, and if you enjoy practising your Italian, you should go there for a little shopping and talking. Living in the same house with the whole family gives you a feeling of really being in Italy.

Che dire.. Ospitalità, cordialità e simpatia i veri ingredienti dei proprietari. L appartamento, spazioso e pulito con ottima vista lago, la nostra vacanza iniziata il 5 agosto e terminata il 19 è stata di assoluto relax, non tralasciando escursioni e vari “tuffi” nel lago. in conclusione, da ripetere, sperando che ci sia la disponibilità poichè merita, sia l appartamento, sia i proprietari Carolina e Paolo, senza dimenticare, Signora Virginia e Signor Mario, che, durante il nostro soggiorno, ci hanno fatto sentire a casa nostra. GRAZIE.. ed un abbraccio anche ai piccoli.
